Welcome to WEB530 / DPS530

In this course, you will learn how to create cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

• Describe the architecture of a cross platform application
• Develop basic user interface components to interact with users
• Test native application using the EXPO CLI in a browser or on a mobile device
• Access native device hardware features using a cross platform framework
• Utilize media, gestures, and notifications in an app

Take a moment to prepare your system so you can begin writing React Native applications. Follow the instructions under "Environment Setup". You can use a Windows or Mac computer.
